A Diverse History of Innovation and Growth

Condux International has been manufacturing cable installation tools and equipment for over 40 years, working directly with the electrical contracting, electrical utility, telecom and fiber optic cable industries. Throughout its history, Condux has been committed to innovation. This commitment is illustrated through the continual research and development of new tools for underground cable installation.

Condux International is proud of its rich and long history that dates back to 1886 when D.W. Radichel owned and operated a harness shop. Even then, we were using the tools of the day to help people and businesses stay connected. Just two years later, in 1888, Radichel purchased North Star Concrete, and the focus and our legacy of providing tools and services for the emerging electric and telecom industries began. In the decades that followed, business grew and expanded with new subsidiaries and locations, like the Winnebago Pipe Plant, which manufactured PVC pipe.

In 1998 Condux International became a separate company owned by Brad Radichel, the current owner. Condux’s focus was the manufacturing of fiber and power installation equipment. Today Condux is a global company, still serving the electric and telecommunications industries with Tools to Connect the World.
